Fee For Service can really be summed up by saying: Select the services you need, pay what they are worth!
As a Seller,
you may want to hire an agent to handle the sale of your home from listing
to closing and all the steps in between, and be perfectly happy to pay the
traditional contingent fee that most agents charge. But what if you could
pre-pay that fee and save some serious money?
Or maybe you're a seller who would like to do some of the work yourself;
you want more control of the sale of your home, but you also want to use
the professional services of a RealtorŪ for certain parts of the process.
Don't you think that, as a home seller, you should be able to save some
money for doing some of the work yourself?
Well, we think you should, and that's why we offer our Fee
For Service Program. We
believe that once we provide objective information about
the selling process and what's involved, YOU should be the
one to decide what steps you have the expertise and time to
tackle, and which ones you'd like us to handle. Because we offer
various Fee-Packages, A-La-Carte Services, Hourly
Consulting, as well as Traditional Commissions, we can tailor
our services based on what YOU need to reach your goals.
There
are some definite requirements to meet if you wish to avail
yourself of our unbundled services, and we will be pleased to
meet with you to discuss this further. The two key points to
remember are:
-
This
is not discount brokerage where we try to offer the full
service for the lowest price - this is a limited
service model - you get the services you pay for.
In his book 'The E-Myth', Michael Gerber uses a pie shop to
illustrate a principle that is directly applicable to the
comparison between discounted real estate services and the
Fee For Service model. In the pie shop, Sarah can make pies
and sell them for $10 per pie take-home, or $2 per slice to
eat-in, which will bring her $16 for a whole pie's worth of
slices. Tomorrow, if she has any inventory left, she will
have to discount those pies to sell them.
In this example, the typical 'one size fits all
commission model', can be compared to the purchase of a
whole pie; you may not want to eat a whole pie, but that has
been your only option unless you wanted to eat-in. However,
when Sarah started offering 'pie-by-the-slice' take-home,
all of a sudden, she was offering people to choose to buy
only the right number of pieces for their needs - a direct
comparison to the Fee-For-Service model.
-
You
will be responsible for
performing the balance of the tasks required to complete the
sale or purchase of your home.
So,
if you would like to learn more about our exclusive Fee
For Service Program, just
send us an email
with your phone number and we will call you back to set a time
for us to meet and discuss these money saving services in detail
(sorry, but we don't offer consultations over the phone or the
Internet).
